The RVI Complete Imaging System

The RVI Complete Imaging System is easily integrated with any System i or iSeries application; user friendly and scalable from a pilot program to an enterprise wide solution. The Complete Imaging System incorporates all features in the "Features of all Systems" section, all features in the RVI Basic and Spool File Imaging Systems, plus:

• Intelligent and non-intelligent workstations can be used to view Spool File reports

• Black & White document scanning, storage and retrieval

• Advanced image processing with despeckle, deskew, deshade and black line removal

• Color capture and color scanning storage and retrieval functions

• Document Tabbing allows the user to group similar documents and tabs together for departmentalized viewing. Can be used for convenience or additional security

• Advanced Workflow functions, Image Management using Rules Based Routing, Packages, Online Approval, Call Back Reminder, Aging Notification, automatic email, fax or printing, plus much more

• Graphical workflow designer is provided as part of the base imaging system for advanced workflow users

• RVI PC Viewer supports simultaneous viewing of black & white, color, spool file, imported external documents and AFP spool files. The user can merge two images for viewing. Automatic viewer startup on image request.

• Rendition billing allows the user to correlate spool files and images for printing to an attached PC printer or use Direct Image Printing through the System i.

• Import and index external documents into the imaging system for viewing, printing or faxing. (Word, WordPerfect, Lotus, Excel and many others). Drag and Drop and Full Text OCR is supported.

• Redaction function blacks out areas in an image

• Versioning function keeps track of all version of the original document

• Spool file capture, storage and retrieval functions with data compression to DASD and optical, PDF support for captured spool files and support for reports greater than 198 columns

• Report Distribution, for routing spool file reports to specific users.

• Standard and Boolean search of captures spool file reports. (System i Advanced viewer or PC GUI Spool File Viewer), pre-search for specific data from within multiple reports that results in a subfile listing of matching reports.

• Branching from within a spool file to associated indexed data through the use of "Hot Spots", "Repeat View" available from the history log, "Point and Shoot" setup

• PC GUI Spool File Viewer, in addition to the Advanced System i Green Screen viewer

• AFP capture, index, view, print and fax capabilities, can also print and fax with overlays

• Spool file to ASCII conversion

• Bar-Code recognition with enhanced review and update procedures

• Email support using the customer's installed email system

• Video and Audio support

• Overlay viewing is the ability to merge a pre-scanned template with spool data for viewing at a PC workstation. Overlays can also be queued for viewing. One template is stored and does not require copies of templates to be loaded on each viewing PC
