Version 8.0 OS/400 PTF

If your original installation or your previous PTF installation took place BEFORE 3-22-05:

Step 1: Download RVPTFINS.PTF and save or copy it into an IFS directory on the iSeries
Proceed to Step 2

Step 1 should only be done once, next time proceed to step 2.

Install by following steps 3 thru 7 substituting RVPTFINS.PTF for RVI80PTF.PTF.

If your original installation or your previous PTF installation took place AFTER 3-22-05:

Step 2: Download RVI80PTF.PTF and save or copy it into an IFS directory on the iSeries.   09-01-2010

Step 3: At the command line, type RVINSPTF then press F4.

Step 4: Enter the IFS path to the PTF file (see Step 2) and press enter. Example /RVIPTF/RVI80PTF.PTF

Step 5: Press enter to accept the software agreement.

Step 6: At this screen you may restore to a different library, the RVILIB library should be the default here. This field must contain an entry.

Step 7: Press enter and the process will begin to restore the files.
